Rugby League Cares hosted the clubs' dedicated player welfare managers at UCEN Manchester in mid-September for their scheduled third-quarter review.
The day-long session was an opportunity for all the welfare managers to share best practise by presenting in-depth reports of the myriad of activities that take place at their clubs.
Welfare managers work closely with both the playing squads and club foundations to deliver a range of health and lifestyle activities, with a strong focus on whole-person wellbeing.
Quote
"Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something, or getting something from them. That is only valid for information sharing. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes”
