After a successful playing career with Wigan, Hull KR, London Broncos and Hull FC, Liam Colbon is now having an impact on the lives of sportsmen and women across Cheshire and the North West.
Liam qualified as a personal trainer before completing a sports science degree with support from RL Cares and has some useful advice for players thinking about what the next chapter in their life holds.
There are lots of skills you develop working in professional sport that are transferrable, not least the discipline you need to take you where you want to be, and the knowledge that success is a process and not something that comes in an instant.
