Rugby League Cares and the Rugby Football League are delighted to announce Ellis Rugby as the official partner of the 2024 Hall of Fame Induction Dinner.

The move continues Ellis Rugby’s association with the sport and builds on the Wetherby-based company’s partnership with the Rugby League Lions Association and involvement in previous Hall of Fame induction dinners.

The 2024 dinner will take place at The Edge, Wigan, on Tuesday October 22 when six of the greatest players in the history of men’s and women’s Rugby League, and the first all-time great team, will be inducted into the sport’s most prestigious club.

“We are delighted that Ellis Rugby will again be working with us to make the Rugby League Hall of Fame induction dinner the truly magical occasion it always is,” said RL Cares Chief Executive Chris Rostron.

“We would like to thank Kevin Ellis from Ellis Rugby for his continued support: the passion he brings for the wonderful heritage of the sport really is infectious.”

Ellis Rugby was founded six years ago by Kevin Ellis, a former Keighley, Doncaster and Dewsbury player, and produces a range of retro 100 per cent cotton apparel celebrating the heritage of both codes of rugby.

Kevin Ellis said: “Ellis Rugby are thrilled to have this opportunity to help RL Cares deliver an event that reflects the prestigious nature of the Rugby League Hall of Fame.

“Our Rugby League ranges celebrate some of the greatest players and teams in the sport’s long and proud history, and we are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of the new inductees on what will be an unforgettable night.”

Ellis Rugby have launched two Rugby League Hall of Fame clothing collections so far. These include inspired shirts worn by the former greats Billy Boston MBE, Neil Fox MBE, Roger Millward MBE, Malcolm Reilly OBE, Alex Murphy OBE, Brian Bevan, Lewis Jones and Johnny Whiteley MBE.

In addition, Ellis Rugby offers a Vintage Rugby League Clothing selection celebrating the history of the international game: designs are inspired by the inaugural Samoa shirt of 1986, the Great Britain 1972 World Cup-winning team and the England shirts from 1975 and 1995.
