Player welfare and wellbeing staff play an important role at club level but their function is often very much misunderstood.
At a recent away day hosted by Rugby League Cares, the wellbeing staff got together at UCEN Manchester for some important CPD and valuable opportunities to share best practise.
They also filmed each other discussing their own roles, how they tackle challenging situations and the unique relationships they have with the playing community.
We don't shout about it enough but we have some amazing people in the sport, and a lot of them are in this room today.
