Josh Hodson made his Super League debut for Castleford Tigers early in 2024 in a season which marked his return to full-time rugby league.
Josh had previously been full-time at London Broncos but opted to go part-time when he joined Batley Bulldogs for a successful two-year spell.
In this short video, Josh chats about his rewarding experience at Batley and why the chance to join Castleford came at the right time for him.
When I made my first team debut at London I was only signed on a reserves contract. I played two games and a week later the season was canned because of Covid. That left me in limbo - I'd finished my degree that year and considered going back home to Coventry, playing for the Bears and maybe finding a job.
