There aren't many clubs Jamie Thackray didn't represent during his well-travelled playing career so it's perhaps fitting that he's now running his own caravan and chalet construction company in East Yorkshire.
Jamie was in his 40s when he made his last professional appearance and the skills and contacts he accrued as a player have helped prepare him for his new career.
However the journey has not been an easy one for the former Great Britain international, who admits the responsibility of managing his staff and making sure they get paid on time is a constant worry.
I worry that we have enough money to make sure everyone gets paid and, touchwood, since we started we've managed to pay everyone every Thursday. When it's your company, all these little worries fill your head. I used to dream about rugby league all the time but now I just dream about caravans !
