James Roby and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook have played more than 1,000 senior games during their glittering careers with St Helens, London Broncos and England.

 

 

The two members of the most successful Super League team of all time will both hang up their boots at the end of 2023, and have deliberately left their options open for what comes next.

 

Our Transition Manager Francis Stephenson caught up with James and Louie to chat about their transition journey and how they are approaching retirement.

 

My wife and children want me to find something sooner rather than later but I want a bit of a rest, a bit of downtime to deconstruct from being a rugby league player before doing something new.
