He is one of British sport’s most respected and loved figures, and this November you can get to know the real Kevin Sinfield at a very special event delivered by Rugby League Cares.
An Evening With Kevin Sinfield OBE will see the former England, Great Britain and Leeds Rhinos player return to Headingley Stadium on Wednesday November 15th for a very special night.
Kevin will be joined by many of his closest friends from the world of sport, who will reflect on his hugely successful career and remarkable achievements both on and off the field.
Hosted by sharp-witted Master of Ceremonies Pete Emmett, this fantastic event will give the audience a unique insight into how Kevin became the most successful captain in the history of Leeds Rhinos, the ways in which he continues to inspire those around him, how he stays focused during his incredibly tough challenges on behalf of the MND Association, and, of course, his friendship with his best friend, Rob Burrow.
All proceeds from the night will go to the new Rugby League Cares Brain Health Fund, in which Kevin is playing an important role in his capacity as a trustee of RL Cares.
The Brain Health Fund has been set up by RL Cares in partnership with the wider sport to deliver a programme of support that educates, protects and assists player with issues concerning neurodegenerative illness, such as dementia.
The fund will educate players on the importance of good brain health and wellbeing, and aims to reduce anxiety among the playing community. It will also provide day to day practical support and advice to former players - and their families – suffering neurological illness.
The Evening With Kevin Sinfield OBE is expected to sell out quickly so book early to avoid missing out.
