Rugby League Cares continued its support for the England wheelchair team during the 2023 autumn international against France when the charity's Transition Manager, Francis Stephenson rejoined the squad as their dedicated wellbeing manager.
In this short video, England coach Tom Coyd and players Rob Hawkins and Joe Coyd explain why Francis's role is so important to their continued development as athletes and people.
RL Cares make sure we have a holistic, across-all-areas support package in place for the players and staff. It's important the players are looked after as people first and foremost, rather than just as athletes.
