Sports Chaplaincy UK

Sports Chaplaincy UK is a Bradford-based charity that provides pastoral and spiritual care to professional and amateur sportsmen and sportswomen in the UK.

The charity was set up to help all those involved in the community of sport or those who would like to help this wonderful community.

There are hundreds of chaplains in the UK and Ireland, providing pastoral and spiritual care to professional and amateur sport. Sports Chaplaincy UK helps train and facilitate the appointment of sports chaplains.

Players and match officials are all high performing athletes who live in an environment where there is huge pressure and some hostility. Jesus teaches us to be there for others, to love and to care for people who need support and that's where Sports Chaplaincy UK comes in.
